Renting was easy and I will use the service again HOWEVER
PLEASE BE CAREFUL. their refund policy is not very good.
1) The seat adjustment was hand tightened so tight I had to use a wrench to loosen it. Was I not supposed try and adjust it.? This is evident. You say the knob was damaged by the wrench? Obviously because it was too tight! Perhaps it should have been functional.
2) service provider should have known about the "reset button". I called him that day and asked him about just such a device and he didnt know about it. This would have fixed my problem on the spot. Instead, I had to have help pushing the scooter!
NO REFUND WAS ALLOWED

Lavarda Jones was my rep. She was extremely engaging, professional and knowledgeable. All of these attributes were what drew me in. Even after my sister found another business where I would have paid $100 less than Cloud of Goods. Customer service was excellent.

Went to Florida for a besties birthday and the service was amazing...Juan text when dropped off at Hotel before we arrived ... charged & ready to go... easy to transport... easy to charge... checked out of Hotel ... Juan picked up scooter ... advised when it was picked up... great price ... great service... 5 stars!!

I never write reviews for things but my rental experience with Cloud of Goods was so awful from start to finish I had to let other people know so they could avoid the same experience I’d had.

First, it says online that the snoo rental comes with sheets and swaddles but the renter told me to bring my own. Then, instead of doing the scheduled drop off time, the renter asked to drop off the snoo the night before. This would have been okay but instead of the agreed upon 7pm she came two hours late without any notification that she would be late and so my sister had to stay up late to meet her. Next, the first night I went to use the snoo I found out it was either broken or stuck in weaning mode. I tried to connect it to the Happiest Baby app multiple times to change the setting but it would not connect. I contacted the renter and she said she had another snoo I could borrow but then I had to coordinate another time the following day to get it when the whole reason for the trip was that I had to go to a funeral that day. Turns out that snoo was also not working and after that neither she nor the “company” had another snoo I could rent and they could not provide any other remedy for the situation. I kept the snoo for the duration of my trip in order to have a safe place for my baby to sleep even though the snoo did not work. Lastly, instead of picking up the snoo at the scheduled time the renter asked to pick it up in the evening the day I left but then she forgot to pick it up, further inconveniencing my family with whom I was staying.

I cannot believe how many times I had to contact the renter in order to fix or organize something that was not my responsibility. This should have been an easy, convenient, and no brainer experience and it was the exact opposite.

This was all very frustrating, inconvenient, and unprofessional. Also, it would have cost me about $250 for a week which is absurd. The only redeeming part of the experience is that I was given a full refund. I would never recommend this rental company to anyone.

I ordered an ultralight manual chair, 18 inches. I received a very large, heavy, beat up drive chair. The DC vendor was rude, impatient, and said they don't carry ultralight chairs. The main cloud goods rep gave me a 20% discount, but I lost independence for my trip. I will never use this company again.

Back in May, I paid $158 to rent a wheelchair, to be delivered to my hotel on 7/3. When arriving at the hotel, the wheelchair was not there. I never received any kind of email confirmation, only a text message confirming with an order number. It took about a half hour of searching to find someone to call and it was to their office in FL. The only elo I was offered was the phone number of their "affiliate" in DC. I called that number and got some random guy's voicemail. Never heard back from them and they never delivered the wheelchair. Don't use this company in DC. I can't speak to other cities, but we ended up renting a wheelchair from another service for less money and it was delivered promptly on July 4, the holiday.

My rental was time-sensitive so I was a little nervous when I put in my requested rental dates, drop-off times and pickup times only to find out that the request was going to go out to their service partners and they’d let me know if any of them accepted my order. Your card isn’t charged until your order is accepted but I was nervous, wondering if they’d find someone in time. I took a deep breath, decided to trust the process and ended up with great results. Within 40 minutes, my order was accepted and Cloud of Goods let me know who would be calling to coordinate the drop off and pick-up of the mobility scooter I was renting. The price was in line with other scooter rental services I have used out of town. The scheduling was easy and the associate I spoke to was friendly and answered all my questions. The person who delivered the scooter was friendly and helpful - assembling it for me while explaining the process so I would know how to break it back down for travel. The scooter was in tip-top condition, was fully charged, came with key & instructions and it functioned well. The breaking down and reassembly went well during my travels (I did not have the upper body strength to do it myself so an able-bodied family member helped me.). The driver who picked up the scooter was also friendly and helpful. Both drivers arrived within the timeframe quoted. I do hope I end up with this service provider next time I rent a scooter! All in all, I had an excellent experience and will use Cloud of Goods for my future rental needs.

Do not book from this place. You will have no idea that your reservation is good.
“Cloud of Goods” puts reservation times on their website that COMPLETELY contradicts the satellite medical equipment office hours. I reserved mine at 8-9am but the office to actually drop off the chair doesn’t open until 10am. People texting me at 1 am and then not responding or showing up. Couldn’t start my vacation, caused needless texts, calls, and confusion. Not worth it with the many businesses out there.
