I would give it 5 stars except that experience is reserved for the balcony vip tickets. I was fortunate to have a private booth and this is the only way to experience concerts here. The rest of the venue is obviously a converted old movie theater and not purpose built. Chuck is all about saving old venues like this, but in this case he should have opened that pocket book and done a rebuild.

Had an great show at the Clyde good views snd the sound system they have is off the chain. The meet and greet was alittle messy as they didn't give clear instructions on where to meet or that we needed wrist bands from the box office. I will say they seem to have hired security and it was messy I was almost in a middle of a fight because some drunk men where fighting and came running out of the consert area and no security was around my partner had to yell for help, security came slow it was definitely a close call

This theater in Ohio was an absolute gem, offering an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The performances were exceptional, with talented actors who brought every story to life with passion and precision. The venue itself was beautifully maintained, with comfortable seating and excellent acoustics that enhanced the overall experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a seamless visit for all guests. Whether you're a seasoned theatergoer or a first-timer, this theater was a true cultural treasure that made for a perfect evening out.

Overall, a great venue for a concert. Loved the general admission/festival standing on the floor. No seating on the floor. How concerts used to be. Restrooms were clean and big enough to accommodate the big crowd. Parking was free, and parking lot is huge. Beer and drinks weren't overly priced like many concert venues, but we're not exactly cheap either. Sound was great. Would recommend going to see a concert here

I've only experienced The Clyde for classic rock cover bands so my review can't speak for other performances in the space. As a venue, it is unique in the Fort Wayne area. The main floor may have a slight slope toward the stage, but not enough that, for general admission (standing room only) events, you can see over those in front of you. There are also three irregular shaped loges (elevated standing/seating areas; left, center, and right. The elevation is maybe a couple feet, so you get a much better view of the stage than from the back of the main floor. At least the center loge has a railing where you can set your drinks if you choose. There are also box (VIP) seats at the upper-back. Two of the three concerts I've been to at The Clyde were all standing room only so I expected the third one to be also as the tickets didn't mention otherwise. Unfortunately, only the main floor was available to general admission ticket holders. All the loges were filled with chairs that you were required to go out front and request an upgrade to be seated there.
As for sound, The Clyde is not ideal for rock bands as it is rather small and, despite being owned by Sweetwater Sound, the acoustics are terrible at high volume. If the guys at the sound board are on top of things, it is at least enjoyable. We saw Thunderstruck (ACDC cover band) and Pyromania (Def Leppard cover band) and both were decent as far as hearing all the players and vocals. The most recent band we saw was Zoso (Led Zeppelin cover band) and we didn't stay for probably the last half, partly because the sound was horrible and partly because the band played too many lesser known Zep songs that no one was getting into. Half the time you couldn't even tell what adding they were playing because the volume level was painful. I love good loud rock as much as anyone, but this was not the right venue for that volume.
I'll keep going to shows because we like being able to get dinner and drinks at The Club Room (attached to the theater), but I'm buying some Eargasm earplugs for the next show!

Came down from Michigan to see the band Avatar . Very cool place to see a show , the sound was great , staff was great and it’s not owned by Live Nation so drinks are not absurdly expensive.

The venue was amazing! Plenty of snack and drink options, merchandise from the bands and local radio station. It was warm and inviting once we stepped inside. The auditorium itself was completely open with room for a ton of people. We had over 700 at the concert we attended. Exiting entering into parking was quick and easy.
