I have been a customer of Soteria for over a year and I have never been dissapointed. Recently I needed some quick work to remove a product and replace it. That was taken care of in a matter of minutes for me which saved a lot of potential damage to our company. In addition I accidently made changes to passwords in the wrong order and email software for us stopped working. They were able to get it all sorted out and back up and running inside 20 minutes. I had a problem with this company. I had my website hosted through them. The hosting automatically renewed each year. However, the expiration date on my credit card expired so that they were unable to renew my domain. They sent me emails about it, but I never read the emails. I get thousands of junk emails and cannot open them all and they were sending them under a name (Soteria) that was different than the name with which I was familiar (Totally Cloud). Apparently, Soteria bought Cloud Totally. The company did not text, call, mail an invoice, or reach out in any other way. Therefore, my domain expired. It was ultimately purchased by another company and Soteria wasn't able to do anything to get it back. So, now we're in a situation where we have the domain printed on our vehicles, printed in our literature, and listed in who knows how many other places. I have even been paying for advertising directing people to this domain for several months not knowing that it no longer directs to our website.

This is a big deal. In my opinion, it is not a good policy to simply allow a domain to expire because the individual didn't respond to an email, especially when spam folders exist, especially when junk email addresses exist, especially when the only reason i had not paid was because the expiration date on my credit card expired, and especially when losing a company internet domain is at stake.

Update: Bill Ramsey, the CEO of Soteria called me. He expressed regret over the situation and offered to help me in whatever ways he could. Unfortunately, there probably isnt much that can be done at this juncture. However, he said he would look talk to some people about search engine optimization for my new domain. He also said he would look into trying to re-acquire my old domain. I do appreciate him reaching out, so I'm revising my rating from 1 to 2 stars. I will update further when I find out more information.

Further Update: Bill followed through on enlisting the help of a specialist to do some search engine optimization on the new website. She was successful in increasing the ranking of our site. I'm revising my rating to 4 stars. I appreciate their willingness to stand behind their work and to go above and beyond in efforts to satisfy their customers.
