Some ofnthe best service I've ever had. Hands down beats mediacom. Anytime I had an issue, which has maybe been 2 times in 16 years, they were here quick and got me up and running.

if you live in Clear Lake, IA and are a mega gamer or love watching Netflix, Hulu, amazon prime, Tubi, crunchy roll, ect ect for hours or binge watching. Cl tel all the way. no data cap unlike mediajunk!/mediacom. always fast reliable service and great customer service. CL Tel only internet id take. Thank you CL Tel.

We have been customers of CL Tel over 10 years. Rare problems were experienced and the company always was quick to resolve - which is my expectation. We were basically forced to convert to their fiber optics last year and have had nothing but problems with both internet and cable and even phone ever since. Major issues were experienced in March and after us constantly calling and demanding call backs and finally speaking with 'supervisors', Sunday service was scheduled which resulted in our phone not working! So - another Sunday spent with the tech. No problems until 10:45 pm on a Sunday so of course no remedy could be obtained. We have called several times waiting for a tech to respond and still no responses as to the plan to remedy my internet issues. I should have held my monthly payment back but mistakenly paid on time AGAIN so I have no leverage. Don't care what their overall rating is, this customer is looking for another provider.

Update: Just received a call from a very conscientious supervisor who has talked us through a remedy that will hopefully resolve our repetitive problems. And yes, they have to visit us on their off hours (sorry for our schedules). If this is truly the remedy, I'll revise my rating and state that this is the way business should be handled. Thank you CL Tel for the efforts.

They sent me a letter regarding not paying $522.59. If I don't by 12/28 they will sent my account to the "collection"agency". I'm no longer a customer anymore and now a customer at Medcom. I don't think its necessary to rip me off!

Come tel is great! It has some little issues but they are getting fixed! I am Sorry for the review I wrote. I didn’t know there was a problem and I was not meaning any of the stuff That was posted. I was just having fun...and I was not thinking of feelings or how badly it would make people feel. I am young and this is a learning experience for me. Sorry. Thanks for understanding.

Internet goes down 12 hours of the day and the other 12 is when I’m sleeping. Absolutely atrocious company. I’m cancelling as soon as I find another provider.
