I took my ailing laptop into Mr. Robot because I need it for my (unexpectedly) rapidly expanding side business (pet care, dog sitting, house sitting, etc.).

Mr. Robot was extremely easy to reach. Dropping off my laptop was easy, and the turnaround on it was astonishingly quick.

I wish everything in my life was this easy. . . as a busy mom that works an intense (clinical compliance) full time job plus a flourishing side hustle, having my laptop back that quickly was nothing less than amazing. Elliot is conveniently located to me in East Central ATX. He thoroughly explained what he did and discussed what to do if I have any further issues of the same flavor.

I hope I don't have any further issues, but if I did, I would definitely reach out to him again, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to any family or friends. When someone else in my house inevitably has a computer issue (because there are 6 computers in the house), I will definitely reach back out to him. During our interactions, he seems incredibly intelligent, gifted and kind.

I usually don’t need any PC help but when my computer had start up issues, Mr. Robot helped run diagnostics. He figured out things I definitely couldn’t do on my own and saved me tons of money and time from taking it to a big company tech support. I’ve reached out to him several times on other tech questions and he is always able to supply an answer and help thoroughly. Highly recommend Mr. Robot from any basic to complex issue you may have!

Had some serious problems with my high end gaming rig and Mr. Robot had my issues totally resolved within the same day for an amazing price. Now my PC runs better than ever before, unbelievable level of service. Cannot recommend his business enough, this will be the only place I bring my computers moving forward. BEYOND INCREDIBLE.. so i had an emergency i was traveling and my laptop of 7 years died (which i saw coming), but with my bank not getting refunded for a while i didn't have that much money. I went to several apple places because this one seemed too good to be true, he gave me answers to help benefit my situation whether he made a sale or not, he told me straight up not to repair and get another, he was extremely patient with me misunderstanding the email proces booking an apointment. THE PRICES WERE INSANELY LOW FOR THE INSANELY HIGH QUALITY, HE LIVED UP TO THE NAME MR ROBOT, im an especially paranoid person so an independent buisness is alot of trust, HE WAS 10,000%, IM STILL AMAZED BY HIS SERVICES, than hed been reaching out days after STILL giving advice/troubleshoot. I COULDNT RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH IT WAS A LIFE SAVER, THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN

I've used Mr. Robot's services thrice now, and every time I've been beyond satisfied.

Firstly, a few years ago I contacted Mr. Robot to have him assist me with installing a new SSD into my gaming laptop, and he not only helped me find the suitable SSD, but he also ran performance testing and improved the cooling by adding a heatsink for essentially no extra cost.

6 months ago I decided to upgrade to a desktop PC, and Mr. Robot walked me through the process every step of the way, helping me find suitable parts within my budget, choosing reliable vendors, explaining the significance of each part, building the PC, testing the PC, and ultimately leaving me with all the information I'll need to continue managing my build. All of this work was for an incredibly fair price considering all of the amazing customer service that Mr. Robot provided.

Lastly, after my PC was built, a couple of months ago I had a power supply issue due to receiving a faulty part from Corsair, and when I went to Mr. Robot for help, he helped me find the information needed to get a free replacement from Corsair, he installed the new part, and shipped the old one for me to send out, and didn’t ask for any fee in return. The man is a LEGEND.

Whenever anyone in Austin asks for help with computers of any sort or wants to do a build, I send them straight to Mr. Robot. He will answer any questions you may have, and will provide as much information as possible.

Let me just start by saying. Iv never known anybody with as much computer building and fixing knowledge as Elliott. Iv been going to him for computer knowledge and help for over 15 years. I 100% would never go anywhere else for anything computer related. He actually cares about his business he lives, eats and sleeps computer parts. Always knows what to get, the best value for your budget and what to stay away from.. If you have computer issues or needs and go anywhere else you have already lost money.. I grew up with Elliott and our lives and friendship has been built around computers. He honestly knows everything there is to know about them. I tell you this not as his friend but as a super fortunate customer who has never had to deal with anyone else for my computer needs.. having his number in my phone is a huge reward never having to worry about computer issues knowing I can just call him up and he will guide me through any problem.. trust me.. you won’t be disappointed

His google reputation precedes him. Called him for advice and help when my power supply bit the dust. Not only did he diagnose the issue, he helped me identify other underlining issues and taught me numerous things about optimizing my PC which all took time at no additional cost to me.

Grateful for his knowledge and ended up rebuilding my entire rig through him. He did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with my new computer. Mr. Robot is the way to go for all your computer questions and needs!

If you like or use Apple products, do NOT go to Mr. Robot. In short my MacBook was out for 2.5 days so I could spend $80 to learn Mr. Robot wants me to switch to a PC. If you aren’t “in good conscience” able to recommend Apple products, maybe don’t “in good conscience” take their customers money.
I was having an issue for the first time with my 9 year old MacBook. It was not holding a charge and I took it in to a repair shop. Without looking at my laptop, the service person told me it was the battery and given the cost and age my system would not recommend doing a repair. They then promptly offered to sell me an overpriced refurbished system. I opted to try Mr. Robot for a second opinion. I sent him the info on my laptop and told him what was previously diagnosed to which he concurred was the issue. BEFORE placing a deposit, I asked if it was worth even trying to fix. He indicated it is typically more cost effective to do so. I dropped off my computer and was told there would be a 24 hour or less turnaround time for diagnosis, which was EXCEEDED.
I received the diagnosis email which was confusing, as it was written in PC lingo and my options were to do a repair that was not recommended, choose from one of 3 PC options to send to his house to have my data transferred, or follow a link to view Apple products, which was multiple links slamming Apple. I was welcomed to reach out with any questions or concerns. When I did so, I was repeatedly referred back to said email with zero clarifications. I finally got so frustrated I had to end the call. When I didn’t opt to switch to PC or do a non recommended repair, I was informed my deposit was forfeited. Retrieving my property required a stop at the bank to get cash for the same amount my credit card had been charged so that it could then be credited back. When I requested a printed receipt for cash given, I was told that service was not provided.
