Cloud Camp is amazing! I don't even think there are words to describe what a unique experience is on top of the mountain above the Broadmoor. We were on the 1:30 shuttle from the Broadmoor and the ride up is something. We drove through the zoo and up to the 9,100 foot elevation. There were storms in the area so the optional mule ride to the top was not an option. The lodge is rustic but chic and each room has a clean, useful bathroom and smaller bed (not a king-sized). There is no a/c but we slept with the windows open and it was wonderful. Breakfast and lunch are buffet-style and we just relaxed, hiked, sat on the porch and read books. Dinner is seated (group style) and you meet some really interesting people. There were two large groups that were seated together. It's a very relaxing, camp-like feeling with elegance and amazing food! And the staff is wonderful!!!!

An all inclusive run by the Broadmoor on top of Cheyenne Mountain. At 9k feet, there are a few adjustments to make, but the relaxed pace makes that simple. Definitely bring layers to wear as the weather can be unpredictable, but generally it's the comfortable Colorado climate minus five or ten degrees.

Think of this as a getaway. While their internet connection is solid and 10Mbps is plenty for most things, there are no TV's in the rooms, locks are not electronic, etc. There are small events to attend every few hours, but you won't keep "busy" here.

The guided hikes are avenues to some fantastic overlooks and great picture opportunities out over the city or back into the mountains. The hot tubs are a bit of a walk and the stars come out a bit better there on the west side of the mountain.

The food is phenomenal and plentiful. Dinners are a full event with multiple courses. Diet restrictions were easily worked around by the chef and drinks flowed a bit too easily.

The staff was both cheerful and helpful. We didn't meet anyone who wasn't simply a pleasant person and all of them seemed interested simply to be working at a unique place like this.

True to advertising, there was no tipping going on at all and we only had to carry around the key to our cabin, if we cared to lock it at all.

Very relaxing place where everything is taken care of for you. A pleasure.

What an amazing experience! This is an all inclusive resort at the top of a 3000 ft Mountain. The service and the food are everything you would expect from a Broadmoor property. If you have the money, you MUST experience this place. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

The 5 Star Hotel rating of the The Broadmoor transfers over to their Cloud Camp 100%. Service, accommodations, food and drink all go above and beyond expectations. The staff to guest ratio is high. The attention to detail is superb. When we arrived it was raining and the staff was lined up to greet us with umbrellas as they guided us to our cabins. They run a tight shop. The first day I overheard a mgr say to the staff on walkie-talkies “ok, time check everyone”. Another time I was sitting in the lodge before lunch. Kurt, the manager, walked up and said lunch was ready when I wished to have it. I told him I was waiting for my party to return from the mule ride. Looking at his watch he said they should arrive in 9 minutes based on the last check in. My wife said when they did arrive Gordon, a young staffer, had water and a cold towel for her even before she climbed down.

One of our party lost a contact and a new one was being overnighted in. Aaron took control and made it magically find its way into their hands after arrival at the Broadmoor way down below.

Final note: every camp needs a dog, right? They have Moose. A lovable 3 year old big old bear of a dog. He has a good life.

From the initial check in at the Broadmoor Hotel to being dropped off at the end of the trip we were pampered and taken care of. We arrived just before our 1:30 shuttle to the property, our bags were taken and tagged before being loaded into a typical resort style shuttle. They do have a ford excursion for fewer guests to be brought up or back down. The ride up was roughly 35 minutes, you go through the Zoo and past the Will Rogers Shrine. The road is bumpy and rough, but the beautiful sights distract you from being bounced around. It happened to be raining on the way up and upon arrival to Cloud Camp we were greeted by the entire staff outside waving and holding umbrellas for the guests along with towels. Great first impression. We were loaded into a golf cart for a 40-50 foot drive up the driveway. We were immediately greeted by Aaron the manager of Cloud Camp and given welcome smoothies and snacks. He provided some details of the property, history and other nuggets of information. Our bags were brought up the room and then we were given a personal escort to the room to make sure we didn't have any questions. The staff to guest ratio for our stay was high, seemed to be 2-3 staff members per guest. Very attentive and helpful. More often than not, they were asking if we needed anything before we need to seek them out. All inclusive beverages were extensive and above average brands. Ultra premium brands were available for an upcharge , but the standard offerings were premium to begin with. Had a wonderful 4 course meal for dinner, the chef brought out an additional entree that was not on the menu, and was a welcome surprise. Breakfast was buffet style and excellent. We would recommend cloud camp and stay there again.

This is THE place to be. Stayed at the Broadmoor countless times, but Cloud Camp is the best. Reserve the Fire Tower Suite if you don't mind stairs.

My husband’s company reserved the Cloud Camp Property for a company appreciation event and it was an amazing experience. We loved everything about it. The hospitality was second to none - the shuttle driver, the property manager and his adorable sidekick doggo Moose, the staff we encountered throughout our stay. As soon as you arrive, you’re offered anything and everything you can think of that you might want or need. We had amazing food and drinks, an abundance of relaxing activities, gorgeous views, live music and a cozy lodge fire. The hot tub cannot be skipped! They’re made of cedar and the smell is as great as the atmosphere. Would love to visit again.

Cloud Camp was beyond my expectations.
The staff were amazing led by the wonderful Manager Kurt. We had terrific interactions with Kris, Kaila, Jess, Sadie, Jackson & Nicole.
We were a very small group during our stay so we felt like royalty with all the attention we had.
There was quite a storm while we were there which knocked power out for a few hours, but Kurt was at the ready at our cabins handing out flashlights and making sure we were all okay. Snow blanketed the mountain during the storm which hampered any outdoor activities we had planned but it was wonderful to play some board games and cards and enjoy the relaxing fires in both fireplaces and have some very quality “down” time and lots of chats with staff and the other guests.
The meals were wonderful and menus very impressive with a multitude of choices. The cabin was very spacious and well appointed and the bed was so very comfortable.
It is an absolutely amazing and unique environment where one can detach from the outside world but enjoy the splendor and beauty of the mountains and literally be in the clouds.
Thank you to Kurt and his staff for making this such a memorable experience that will never be forgotten!
