Guillermo and Jose are talented accountant and supported our families for over 10 years, and for those years, I would rate them a 4 star, 5 for their grate work but they lose a point for really late appts. Most recently he became unresponsive for over a year. In general, we were all patient waiting for our appointments, I don't think he ever respected other people's time as he never seen us at our appointment time, we normally wait at least 2 hours to be seen, many times after visiting the office, you get turned away and rescheduled, because waiting 4 hours to be seen is just the norm and he never bothers to apologize, it is the way he works. I even call before I drive over 30 min before, and they still confirm appointments that just don't work. most recently he started my 2022 taxes and decided to put them on hold during the visit, he asked for a week time to think about a better strategy, fast forward a year, he never answered or addressed the issues. I would have appreciated honest conversation, too busy to handle some of your complex customers. Let us know and will gladly find someone else that would. I could have gone without leaving a negative review but most recently I came across my mother's annual social security statement and noticed she doesn't show any work credits for two years, well they did the taxes, we paid for those years before she owed, IRS took the money and said nothing. They never sent those in. why? no clue. I decided to give the office another chance and contacted Jose and he promised to address that and file the request for penalties. well fast forward 3 months later, nothing..... it is not okay to avoid customers you don't want to serve, let us know will gladly move on and find other accountants that would appreciate our business. My family members still use the office and so far they still have an okay experience, but things didn't work well for me at the end nor for my mother. This office offers inconsistent services, and if your taxes are complex, I suggest you consider other accountants. last, forget getting a bill for your taxes, it is always a hidden mystery, I have asked several time so I can understand what I being charged and they don't disclose it.

Jose contacted me to address any issues from his office. Updated my rating to reflect it and will update more once resolved. Mistakes happen, but a good company does great when they address issues. I appreciate Jose’s support.

As a small business owner I get easily overwhelmed with my books and payroll but Guillermo stepped in and turned everything around. He's even helped me secure 2 business grants over the years, literally free money for my business. Which no other accountant in the past ever suggested, I didn’t even know this was an option before meeting Guillermo. I can’t emphasize enough just how “numbers” savvy he is, it’s truly next-level. I've talked to other accountants before but none of them have the depth of understanding that Guillermo does. I saw him on February and his advice saved me a ton of money and his phone call to explain everything was so reassuring, and that's why he's earned every bit of my 5-star rating.

HOWEVER, I'm taking off one star because he's a bit too lenient with clients who don't upload their documents on time. The client portal requires docs to be uploaded a day in advance but I’ve witnessed some people don’t follow this rule, causing longer wait times as the secretary has to make copies for every paper and a lot of clients don’t even have all of their required paperwork for their appointment, so they have to wait for a family member to take a picture at home and send it to them…all this causing delay when they should’ve uploaded a day before like the rest of us! Once, I waited 2 hours because everyone insists on seeing Guillermo, even though they can opt for another accountant. Although I get it, I’d wait however long it takes to see Guillermo because he’s just that good, I just wish the office was stricter about rescheduling those who fail to upload their docs. Even his secretary mentioned that it's a common issue but they try their best to accommodate everyone even those who don’t upload beforehand.

Due to this, I’ve switched to virtual appointments. So far, Guillermo is just as amazing over video or phone. On February during a virtual call, he helped me find more ways to save money and optimize my business finances.

TLDR: Overall, Guillermo’s the best in the business and I'll happily wait as long as it takes to benefit from his incredible expertise!

I met and sat down with Guillermo on April 2, he completed two of my outstanding returns that could not be filled digitally and he never sent out to them out to IRS- since then, he has disappeared. I have called, emailed, personally gone to office and nothing. He came highly recommended so I am extremely disappointed at his unprofessionalism and lack of respect. A simple communication advising that he could no longer work on my returns would have sufficed. It seems like this is a common practice from recent reviews... very unfortunate!

If I could give 0 starts, I would ! Normally, I would give 5 stars and boast about how amazing and how pleased with Guillermo I've been as I've had my taxes ACTUALLY taken care of by him for years. However, for whatever reason, 2024 was just not his year. There was 0 to no communication on WHY my taxes have been sitting there- not posted to the IRIS though I've filed with him back in February (It's MAY now). After needing to call the office a numerous amount of times, I would finally reach someone and was told two separate times now that there were "complications". Okay, that happens. But you would think that I would be contacted EVER with any updates. Nope. I had to personally call over and over and over again to have SOME sort of update. I am absolutely disgusted in how unprofessional this office has become and how dishonest and lazy they are this year. This is people's money that they're messing with and they just do not seem to care. Don't come here. They're garbage now.

Once I received my tax papers at the ending of February I filed them with Guillermo the same month. I was told in about a month or 2 months I will receive my taxes directly into my bank account. Til this day I have not received my taxes ANYWHERE ! Not in the mail or in my bank account the last time I was able to actually talk to someone on the phone was about 3 weeks ago and on a Monday and she told me to call back the following Thursday to now never answer phone calls again I work mon-Friday 8:30 am to 5 am and they open from 10 am to 6 am. Now I am going to have to lose a day of work to figure out what is going on because they are not giving any explanations about my taxes seems almost like a scam !! DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE ! No communication and care or regard to peoples personal needs why open a business like this to up and disappear and not explain nothing to any of your customers ? According to the reviews seems as if he did this to everyone this year. I need some answers !!

Ive been doing my taxes with Guillermo and Jose for years, not only myself but almost everyone from my wife's side, and they have normally been great to deal with. However, something changed this year, and I'm extremely concerned. I had my original appointment on February 28th, and everything went smoothly. All I needed was to upload one additional document, which I did 5 minutes after the call. I've called numerous times to get a status update, but I've received false promises and no one answers. So, I made another appointment on April 4th just to inform Guillermo that the one piece of document was uploaded. He apologized for the delay and lack of service and promised that he would submit everything to the IRS.

Now, it's April 23rd, and I have not received any confirmation that my taxes were submitted. When I call, no one answers, and if they do, they tell me Guillermo or Jose will get back to me, which they never do. Last week, I was told by the secretary that they have taken time off.

Since my original appointment on February 28th, I have no assurances that anything was done regarding my taxes.

We have been using Guillermo for our taxes for 10 years plus! Always a good experience … 2023 and 2024 have been such a bad experience . It’s now May and our taxes were done in February but still shows not filed! . I can’t reach Guillermo at all, i had to beg for a family friend to help me contact him for an update. No Communication. So sad to see all the bad reviews bc they started out so awesome.

I'm using this review to see if someone can answer me. I filed my taxes on January 29, but every time I call the office to ask about the status of my taxes because they have not yet been sent to the IRS, they tell me they will call me later, but they never call me. I need you to let me know if I can mail them, or take them to another accountant or what I should do, because this is the first time this has happened to me. With my previous counters they send them immediately and I receive the return in approximately 10 days. I think there is no office manager in this office.
