July, 2024. We got in touch with Cloud on Tap after SalesForce had recommended them. We scoped out a project for $5,000 and were required to pay up front. After 20 hours or work, our $5,000 credit was depleted and unfortunately they completed nothing; I mean absolutely nothing. The result of the project was that they deemed our program too complicated and said that the custom code in our application was the reason. They spent 20 hours just poking around only to tell us they were baffled. We found another developer who addressed our issues for $750 and didn't have to touch the small part of our application that was custom code. The Cloud On Tap developer assigned to us was obviously not qualified and frequently cited his limited availability to work on our project. I requested a detailed break-down of what they did for the 20 hours of work, where the time was spent and never received a response (despite the account manager's promise to do so). They might be a good firm for large, six figure, implementation project but for a small project, I would look elsewhere. BTW - I rated them 1 star because I'm not sure a zero star rating is permissible, but know that they did not earn a single star !

As a result of a recommendation from Pardot, I signed an implementation agreement with Cloud On Tap and Sikes Dorsey.

I was very disappointed with their service for the following reasons:
1. The sessions were very "robotic." Dorsey seemed to go into autopilot mode during our calls and I continually had to slow him down and ask for clarifications on multiple issues.
2. He was routinely unavailable to schedule calls, and inflexible in meeting my available/requested times.
3. Even when we did finally agree to scheduled meetings, he routinely tried to reschedule them the same day. It was incredibly frustrating.
4. The scope of work that we signed required that Cloud on Tap track our progress using a tool called "Base Camp" however Dorsey totally failed to maintain our progress and therefore I continually had to help him understand exactly where I was in the process.
5. He completely missed our final meeting, after I spent 2 weeks trying to schedule it, and then when I fired his company Sikes Dorsey refused to offer any refund despite the fact that I offered to pay for the time he had spent to date.

If you do choose to work with Cloud on Tap, make sure to edit the agreement to add a "performance clause" or at least remove his "no refund policy."

My experience with Cloud on Tap and Sikes Dorsey was very disappointing and I would not recommend them to anyone trying to implement a Pardot campaign.
